Schools' programme - Year 10 ARTiculation Discovery Day

Thurs 2 Nov and Tues 14 Nov 2017, 10am - 2:45pm, free - cancellation fee applies

Delivered in partnership with the Univeristy of Leeds, this is a unique learning experience for KS4 students to learn about Barbara Hepworth’s artwork and our temporary exhibitions, as well as develop skills in critical thinking, visual analysis and public speaking.

After a curator-led tour of the galleries, students will research and present their findings around a selected artwork. Supported by our Learning Team and students from University of Leeds, students will interview Director of The Hepworth Wakefield, Simon Wallis.

The day will be led by Professor Abigail Harrison Moore, Head of School of Fine Art, History of Art and Cultural Studies at the University of Leeds.

Select from 2 or 14 November to bring a group of students ot the gallery. We are offering four schools eight places per day.
