MESH is a two part project by dancer and choreographer Vanessa Grasse, taking place at Yorkshire Dance and The Hepworth Wakefield in July 2017.

You are invited to take part in a series of movement workshops, through which you will work with Grasse along with a small group of participants and professional dancers to explore ways of moving collectively, building towards a new experimental dance piece.

Forming sculptural formations inspired by Barbara Hepworth’s work and the design of gallery itself, while finding ways of moving between spaces together, the workshops provide a unique opportuinity to work with professional dancers in an informal environment.

The sessions culminate in a public sharing of work in progress on 22 July, 3-4pm.
