Everybody Street: A Film by Cheryl Dunn

Everybody Street illuminates the lives and work of New York's iconic street photographers and the incomparable city that has inspired them for decades.
This 2013 documentary, directed by Cheryl Dunn, pays tribute to the spirit of street photography through a cinematic exploration of New York City, and captures the visceral rush, singular perseverance and at times immediate danger customary to these artists.
Photographers featured include: Bruce Davidson, Elliott Erwitt, Jill Freedman, Bruce Gilden, Joel Meyerowitz, Rebecca Lepkoff, Mary Ellen Mark, Jeff Mermelstein, Clayton Patterson, Ricky Powell, Jamel Shabazz, Martha Cooper, and Boogie, with historians Max Kozloff and Luc Sante.
This film screening complements the current exhibition of work by American photographer Philip-Lorca diCorcia.
This screening is part of Wakefield ArtWalk, the city's bimonthly alternative night out. The Hepworth Wakefield galleries, Café Bar and shop will all stay open until 9pm and there will be cultural events, exhibitions and happenings across the city.
