TALK: COLLECTIONS IN FOCUS

Internationally renowned expert on British art, Dr. Margaret Garlake, author of New Art/New World: British Art in Postwar Society (Yale University Press, 1998) will give a talk to coincide with the opening of our new collection displays. Dr Garlake will address the fascinating postwar social and political context of artists such as Francis Bacon, Reg Butler and Lucian Freud, whose work features in the new displays.
