Young People

The Young People’s Programme is dedicated to young people aged 14 – 25 and offers a range of workshops, talks, evening and weekend events.

YOUTH PANEL

Twice monthly meetings, Free

The Youth Panel will work with artists and members of the Learning team to develop and coordinate events for young people. To join the Youth Panel come along to any of our young people’s events and speak to a member of the team, or contact Victoria Boome, Non-Formal Learning Coordinator on 01924 247396 or victoriaboome@hepworthwakefield.org

ARTIST- LED SESSIONS

Subject to availability, Half day £90, Full day £180 (excluding VAT)

Groups can book an artist led, hands on sessions led by our team of freelance artists. Sessions themes include creative writing, photography, mixed media, sculpture, music, textiles, installation, drawing, painting and printmaking.  

ARTS AWARD

The gallery is a registered Arts Award centre and can support young people to work towards Bronze and Silver level Arts Award through bespoke workshops, talks, tours and courses.

PROJECTS

The Learning team is working with a number of different services to support the local and national NEET agenda (Young people Not in Employment, Education or Training).  Group leaders wishing to discuss bespoke sessions/event for NEET or at risk of becoming NEET groups please contact Victoria Boome victoriaboome@hepworthwakefield.org 01924 247396
