Arts Award Explore for 7 - 11 year olds

EASTER HOLIDAYS: Tues 18, Wed 19, Thur 20, Fri 21 April 2017, 10.30am – 3pm, £150 for four sessions

Arts Award Explore

Join artist Kate Morgan for a week of creative exploration. Create your own masterpiece to take home and achieve a nationally recognised Explore Arts Award qualification.

Visit the galleries to study first-hand the amazing sculptures, craft and fashion pieces in our exhibition Disobedient Bodies: JW Anderson curates The Hepworth Wakefield, as well as having a rare opportunity to peep behind the scenes at the gallery and meet members of The Hepworth team. 

Back in the learning studio, you will experiment with a variety of materials and creative techniques including printmaking, photography, photoshop and digital manipulation.

£150 for four sessions, all materials included.

Suitable for 7-11 year olds. 

There is no need to accompany participants on the Arts Award.

Please bring a packed lunch or pocket money to buy lunch in the café. Refreshments at break times will be provided.
